About Our Team
Du Zhang
Du started this tea house on March 28th, 2024. As a tea enthusiast for over 10 years, he has dedicated most of his time to studying and enjoying tea. From exploring different tea regions to understanding the intricate art of brewing, his passion has only deepened over the years.
Owning a tea house has always been his dream—a place where people can slow down, appreciate the richness of tea, and experience its culture. Now, that dream has finally come true in Finland.
Through this tea house, he hopes to share the joy of tea with others, creating a space where tradition meets modern life, and where every cup tells a story.
Yang Chen
Yang grew up in the tea house her father owned in the historic city of Xi’an, where she was immersed in the world of tea from a young age. Tea has always been a part of her life—not just as a beverage, but as a tradition, an art, and a way to connect with people.
Her deep appreciation for tea is intertwined with her love for traditional culture, inspiring her to share the beauty of tea with others.
Now, she hopes to bring this passion to a new audience, creating a space where people can experience the warmth, history, and artistry of tea.
Sake
Sake is the beloved cat of Du and Yang, and perhaps the most distinguished member of the family. Originally from Shanghai, he made the grand journey to Helsinki with them, bringing his undeniable charm and royal attitude. Though Du and Yang may have founded the tea house, those who truly understand know that Sake is the real owner—he simply allows them to work there.
Du and Yang work hard every day to keep the tea house running so that Sake can live a better life. 😄
